Fashion is specific, self-fulfilling and can be a key part of a person's identity. Similarly to art, the aims of a person's choices in style aren't always to be preferred by way of absolutely everyone, but as an alternative to be an expression of private taste. A person's non-public style features as a "societal formation constantly combining contrary ideas. It is a socially perfect and cozy manner to differentiate oneself from others and, on the same time, it satisfies the character's need for social version and imitation." While philosopher Immanuel Kant believed that fashion "has not anything to do with actual judgements of taste", and turned into alternatively "a case of unreflected and 'blind' imitation", sociologist Georg Simmel idea of fashion as some thing that "helped conquer the distance between an character and his society".
