Uses of Wetsuit

Wetsuits are used for thermal insulation for activities where the user is likely to be immersed in water, or regularly doused with heavy spray, regularly approaching from near-horizontal directions, in which normal moist-climate garb is not going to maintain the water out. Activities consist of underwater diving, crusing, sea rescue operations, surfing, river rafting, whitewater kayaking and in a few occasions, patience swimming.
