In earlier years, the winner of Grasim Mr. India Pageant used to symbolize India at Mister World contest. From 1997 to 2003 the winner changed into dispatched to Mr. International and on a few occasions the winner become also dispatched to compete at different global pageants like Mr. Intercontinental or Best Model of the World.
