Bangles

Rigid bracelets, normally from metallic, wood, or plastic, are known as bangles or bangle bracelets. They may be clean, textured or set with stones. In India, glass bangles are commonplace. Made from everyday glass this is approximately 3 to 6 millimetres (1⁄8 to 1⁄4 in) in width, they're worn in groups in order that arm movement reasons them to make a gracious sound instead like the clinking of wind chimes. In India, it's also commonplace that young children will wear skinny gold bangles on their arms and ankles.
