Foundation is a liquid, cream, or powder make-up applied to the face to create an even, uniform shade to the complexion, cover flaws and, once in a while, to exchange the natural skin tone. Some foundations also function as a moisturizer, sunscreen, astringent or base layer for extra complicated cosmetics. Foundation implemented to the body is typically known as "frame portray" or "frame make-up".
