A belly chain or waist chain is the famous English time period for the Indian rings known as kamarband. The belly chain is a form of frame earrings worn across the waist. Some stomach chains connect to a navel piercing; those also are referred to as "pierced stomach chains". They are often made of silver or gold. Sometimes a thread is used across the waist as opposed to a chain. The chain may be sensitive and skinny, or heavy and thick.
