The Cybergoth and rivethead subcultures emerged in America during the overdue 1990s, and blended classic gothic models consisting of leather-based duster coats, tripp pants or Demonia brand platform boots with the apparel worn through lovers of commercial metal and rave song to create a dystopian, futuristic technology fiction look. Shaved heads, artificial neon dreadlocks, camouflage, tight leather-based pants, chains, platform boots, stretched body piercings, sleeve tattoos, goggles, corsets, PVC or leather skirts, and black trenchcoats decorated with metal studs are often visible on members of this subculture.
