In 2016, the Polish businessman, manufacturer, and worldwide director of Miss Supranational Gerardo Von Lipinsky, based the global male splendor contest, Mister Supranational, collectively with the Panamanian businesswoman Marcela Lobón, writer of WBA (World Beauty Association). The first edition of the contest become held on December 2, 2016 at the Municipal Sports and Recreation Center (MOSIR), inside the town of Krynica-Zdrój, Poland, with the participation of 36 candidates from various international locations around the sector, with Diego Garcy from Mexico, the first winner of the contest.

Approximately 80 international locations have participated inside the contest, making it one of the most essential male beauty pageants inside the world.
