Miss World Malaysia pageant has been staged due to the fact 1963. The winner represents the united states of America at Miss World festival. On occasion, when the winner does not qualify (because of age) a runner-up is sent.

The present day titleholder of Miss World Malaysia is Lavanya Sivaji of Selangor. She will constitute Malaysia at Miss World 2021 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
