Sauna in Norway and Sweden

In Norway and Sweden saunas are observed in many locations, and are called 'badstu' or 'bastu' (from 'badstuga' "bath cabin, tub house"). In Norway and Sweden, saunas are not unusual in almost every public swimming pool and health club. The public saunas are normally unmarried-sex and may or won't allow use of swimming gear. Rules for swimwear and towels for sitting on or protecting yourself range between saunas. Removing frame hair within the sauna, watching other's nudity or spreading odors is considered impolite.
